It’s that time of year when Carrollton seafood spots try to lure locals away from their usual haunts, and into the comfort of their expertly prepared catches. This list is here. If you do not know what those words mean, it’s where the city’s top restaurants offer everything from classic fried baskets to elegant coastal plates, all ready for your 2026 dining adventures.
Blue Maki by The Blue Fish
$$ | (214) 731-6633 | WEBSITE

Blue Maki’s menu reads like a greatest-hits list of Carrollton sushi spots, but let me guide you through it. They’re open for lunch and dinner, but you should really aim for dinner. There’s a $55 premium temaki combo and a $75 chef’s tasting (available Fridays only)—the $55 dinner is the smarter choice because it includes the uni everyone raves about plus the Dragon Roll or the wagyu & guac tower.
99 Pocha
$ | (469) 758-6414 | WEBSITE

Almost everything we just said about late-night spots applies to 99 Pocha. Except it’s not just about seafood, the menu offers Korean-inspired dishes too, and the dinner tab runs about $25 per person. Other than that, you get the whole welcoming package. 99 Pocha is all about chill vibes (we like the beef bulgogi, spicy wings, and takoyaki) but there are bar snacks like nacho cheese fries too, so you can make this a full feast thing.
Omi Korean Grill & Bar
$$ | (972) 245-3565 | WEBSITE

Omi Korean Grill & Bar is one of our favorite Korean BBQ spots in Carrollton, thanks to its fantastic value. They offer an all-you-can-eat option for $32 (normally $45) that includes marinated short ribs, spicy chicken, bulgogi, and unlimited refills of Bonjons like kimchi and soybean sprouts. The quality of the meat is stellar, the grilling experience is engaging, and if you’ve always wanted to try authentic Korean BBQ, start here.
Sushi Kadan
$$ | (469) 289-6555 | WEBSITE

We appreciate how this sushi spot in Carrollton is showcasing every Japanese flavor in their happy hour specials. That means tempura with a perfectly crisp batter and dipping sauce, or the Crazy Boy roll with its generous portion of fresh fish. The Sapporo at happy hour has our attention (even though it’s a steal at just $4).
And their $25 lunch combo is a deal if you opt for the assorted sushi platter to start, their signature rolls with creative ingredients, and end with that cute orange bear for dessert.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop
$ | (214) 483-2700 | WEBSITE

We’re really enjoying the lunch options at this Carrollton spot. You can order a taco sampler as a starter. Plus, flavorful fish tacos, shrimp tacos, or even carne asada as your main. Those mains alone would cost $15 at most taco shops. And the signature seafood platter is what we’d jump on from their $20 dinner menu.
The Crab Station – Carrollton
$$ | (972) 242-2889 | WEBSITE

The Crab Station is the seafood boil specialist in Carrollton, and its generous portions are also surprisingly good. For dinner, the seafood boil includes crab legs, calamari, ramen, and a “chef’s recommendation” (lunch is basically the same, except no recommendation and one less item). You won’t have to worry about using your fancy manners here. The casual restaurant is decorated with nautical-themed accents and plays a soundtrack of classic rock hits.
Sea Travel
$$$ | (469) 598-1600 | WEBSITE

Hats off to Sea Travel for being authentic to its roots and not compromising on quality. Few seafood spots of this caliber are offering such generous portions at these prices. And there’s nothing timid about this experience, either. These are substantial dishes with premium ingredients, like the perfectly seasoned mulhoe and the fresh sashimi combo—a great example of a restaurant that wants your dollar to go further.
Taste of Chengdu
$$ | (469) 289-3379 | WEBSITE

The spicy rabbit, which is normally $18, is reason enough to prioritize Taste of Chengdu during any craving for authentic Sichuan. Get an order of cold noodles with garlic sauce to start, and suddenly their casual dining room feels less like Carrollton and more like the bustling streets of Chengdu. The Chongqing chicken is an extra $12, but it’s worth it for one of Texas’ best.
Catfish House
$ | (214) 483-5377 | WEBSITE

What can you expect to eat at this seafood spot in Carrollton? That’s an easy question with a straightforward answer. The menu here stays reliably consistent, offering classic Southern seafood favorites. The catfish baskets and grilled shrimp make great main dishes, and we love all the combos (but especially the fried fillets with those homemade corn nuggets).
Black Thai Authentic Cuisine
$ | (214) 731-6449 | WEBSITE

Black Thai Authentic Cuisine landed on Carrollton’s best seafood list just in time for the new year, and you should rush over. It instantly became our go-to Thai spot when it opened last fall, and it’s already one of the very top ones in Texas, too. Sadly, you are missing out on the best dish (the pulled pork fried rice) if you stick to just appetizers. The spring rolls are the only starter available on the smaller plates menu.
But we get just as excited about the mains here, like the curry bites and sticky rice with coconut milk.
나주면옥 NAJU MYEONOK
$ | (972) 242-9242 | WEBSITE

Getting a full Korean meal here for under $35 feels like the steal of the year. The cozy spot is known for its soy-marinated seafood, but we love the spicy cold noodles on their menu. If you want the full Naju Myeonok experience, you can get the soy sauce crab as your main dish for an extra $18. That’s normally $42 (with extra banchan) for dinner, so stick to the other options and spend that extra money on a proper dinner here eventually.
